PCCI is the voice of Philippine business recognized by government and international institutions. As a proactive catalyst of development, PCCI promotes and supports the drive for globally competitive Philippine enterprises in partnership with government, local chambers, and other business organizations.
Mission
The main responsibility of PCCI is to provide focused advocacy for business growth and sustainable development by providing business services for the advancement of grassroots entrepreneurship, chamber development, international trade relations, business innovation and excellence, and operating efficiency. These will be achieved through a professional organization working in close cooperation with various stakeholders in public and private sectors.
PCCI honors Most Business Friendly LGUs for 2022

Nine (9) Local Government Units (LGUs) that have been successful in restoring and increasing business operations in their areas thru significant and sustained innovative actions during these trying times received this year’s 2022 Most Business-Friendly Local Government Unit Award.
The LGU award was presented by Philippines President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., DTI Secretary Alfredo Pascual, PCCI president George T. Barcelon, PCCI Chairman Dr. William S. Co, PCCI Chairman of the Council of Business Leaders Jose T. Pardo, 48th PBC&E Chairman Ferdinand A. Ferrer, 48th PBC&E Awards Chair Amb. Alfredo M. Yao, PCCI Honorary Chair and Treasurer Sergio R. Ortiz-Luis Jr., and LGU Awards Co-Chair Bing Sibal-Limjoco during the concluding ceremonies of the 48th Philippine Business Conference & Expo held at the Grand Ballroom, Manila Hotel.
Awarded as the most business-friendly LGUs for 2022 are the following: Bulacan Province led by Governor Daniel R. Fernando (Provincial Level), Pasig City led by Mayor Victor Ma. Regis N. Sotto (City Level 1A), Mandaue City led by Mayor Jonas C. Cortes (City Level 1B), General Trias City led by Mayor Luis A. Ferrer IV (City Level 2), Tagbilaran City led by Mayor Jane Censoria Yap (City Level 3), Kapalong, Davao del Norte led by Mayor Maria Theresa R. Timbol (Municipality Level 1) and Pakil, Laguna led by Mayor Vincent L. Soriano (Municipality Level 2).
Special citation was also given to other LGUs that were able to showcase their excellence in developing business namely Bataan and Tarlac for the Provincial level; Marikina City and Quezon City for City Level 1A; Iloilo City for City Level 1B; Binan City and Santa Rosa City for City Level 2; San Fernando City and Tuguegarao City for City Level 3; Carmona, Cavite and San Mateo, Isabela for Municipality Level 1; and Magallanes, Cavite for Municipality level 2. --- Russel Ponce
