Mission
The main responsibility of PCCI is to provide focused advocacy for business growth and sustainable development by providing business services for the advancement of grassroots entrepreneurship, chamber development, international trade relations, business innovation and excellence, and operating efficiency. These will be achieved through a professional organization working in close cooperation with various stakeholders in public and private sectors.
PCCI, Huawei, Aboitiz Foundation to collaborate on MSME digitalization
The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) met with Huawei Technologies and the Aboitiz Foundation to discuss a potential tripartite on Biyaheng Digiskarte - a mentoring program with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) that aims to help in the recovery and growth of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and cooperatives that were affected during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The mentoring program includes topics on Digital Mind-Setting, Digital Marketing Plan, Strategy, and Skills, Inventory Management and Logistics, Financial Management, Government Regulations and Taxation for MSMEs, and Financial Literacy and E-banking.
PCCI, Huawei, and the Aboitiz Foundation will be searching for a common ground among their programs for the cultivation and development of MSMEs in terms of digitalization --- Anya Marie T. Cruz
