Following the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to help MSMEs effectively transition to digital operations, Huawei has provided free certificate courses on Mobile Application Development and intensive trainings on Artificial Intelligence and Cloud applications.

Through PCCI’s Human Resources Development Foundation (PCCIHRDF), Huawei was able to provide the same course to partner academic institutions.  PCCI-HRDF successfully awarded sixty graduates from the first batch of the Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) Foundation course last July 2021 and enlisted Colegio de Muntinlupa, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa, STI College Alabang, Holy Cross of Davao College, and Southern Luzon Technical College for the Huawei ICT Academy.

Huawei is now helping PCCI to digitalize the Chamber’s meeting and training rooms to become digital hubs to improve the delivery of services to its members. --- Anya Marie Cruz
