PCCI is the voice of Philippine business recognized by government and international institutions. As a proactive catalyst of development, PCCI promotes and supports the drive for globally competitive Philippine enterprises in partnership with government, local chambers, and other business organizations.
Mission
The main responsibility of PCCI is to provide focused advocacy for business growth and sustainable development by providing business services for the advancement of grassroots entrepreneurship, chamber development, international trade relations, business innovation and excellence, and operating efficiency. These will be achieved through a professional organization working in close cooperation with various stakeholders in public and private sectors.
PCCI participates in the Turkiye-Philippines Business Forum
Philippines-Turkiye Business Council Chairman Ernesto Chua represented the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry President George T. Barcelon in the Turkiye-Philippines Business Forum last October 26, 2022, at the Dusit Thani hotel Manila.
Chua welcomed the 18-man delegation and shared the various investment opportunities and joint ventures available in key sectors such as logistics, food, infrastructure, and agriculture, among others.
Birol Celep, board member of the Turkish Exporters Assembly and head of mission noted that the Philippines is a strong trading partner of Turkiye and they look forward to further strengthening the economic and trade relations of both countries.
The Turkish Ambassador to the Philippines, H.E. Niyazi Evren Akyol, shared that as the pandemic is going behind us and enable the two countries to connect once again. He expressed confidence that more economic collaborations will come out from the business matching session. --- Miguel Santos
