PCCI is the voice of Philippine business recognized by government and international institutions. As a proactive catalyst of development, PCCI promotes and supports the drive for globally competitive Philippine enterprises in partnership with government, local chambers, and other business organizations.
Mission
The main responsibility of PCCI is to provide focused advocacy for business growth and sustainable development by providing business services for the advancement of grassroots entrepreneurship, chamber development, international trade relations, business innovation and excellence, and operating efficiency. These will be achieved through a professional organization working in close cooperation with various stakeholders in public and private sectors.
PCCI President meets Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia

PCCI President George T. Barcelon recently met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Hon. Alexander Khvtisiashvili at the PCCI office where both officials discussed on strengthening the Philippines-Georgia bilateral relations, potential areas of cooperation, and ways of increasing trade, among others.
Barcelon expressed his gratitude to Minister Khvtisiashvili and the members of his delegation for meeting with PCCI noting that it is an excellent start to boost economic development between Georgia and the Philippines. He mentioned that the Georgian business community can leverage the Philippine government’s commitment to increase markets in key sectors including agriculture, food security, renewable energy, infrastructure, and logistics.
Barcelon assured the Georgian delegation that PCCI will continue to be a proactive partner in promoting the Philippines and Georgia bilateral relations.
Khvtisiashvili, for his part, expressed appreciation to PCCI for the opportunity to talk about potential joint ventures stressing that their visit reflects the country’s strong interest to pursue broader bilateral ties with the Philippines. He shared that Georgia offers various opportunities in its rich hydro-renewable energy, transportation, logistics, IPO, real estate, information technology, and abundant agriculture sector, specifically in food processing, fish production, and livestock, among others.
Khvtisiashvili encourages the PCCI and its Georgian counterparts to exchange of information on the market leading to further enhance two-way trade.

Irakli Asashvili, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of the Philippines; H.E. Mariel Algabre, Philippine Ambassador to Georgia; Shorena Duchidze, senior counselor of the Embassy of Georgia to the Republic of the Philippines; Medea Tamazashvili, secondary secretary of the Division of Central and East Asian Countries, Department of Asia and the Pacific Rim; Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Candy Cypres-Bauzon, Office of European Affairs, Department of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines; Ruben J.
