PCCI is the voice of Philippine business recognized by government and international institutions. As a proactive catalyst of development, PCCI promotes and supports the drive for globally competitive Philippine enterprises in partnership with government, local chambers, and other business organizations.
Mission
The main responsibility of PCCI is to provide focused advocacy for business growth and sustainable development by providing business services for the advancement of grassroots entrepreneurship, chamber development, international trade relations, business innovation and excellence, and operating efficiency. These will be achieved through a professional organization working in close cooperation with various stakeholders in public and private sectors.
PCCI, Royal Thai Embassy explore more trade events for 2023

PCCI President George T. Barcelon and His Excellency Tull Traisorat, Ambassador of the Royal Thai Embassy, together with representatives from the Thai private sector met on January 24, 2023 to discuss initiatives to further strengthen Philippines-Thailand bilateral trade and business relations. They emphasized the need to enhance collaborative efforts between the PCCI and the Embassy in arranging trade events such as trade missions, business matching sessions, and seminars/ webinars in order to maximize business potentials between the two economies.
Also discussed at the meeting was the upcoming 75th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Thailand. Amb. Traisorat proposed to organize an activity between PCCI and its Thai counterpart to mark the momentous event.
Also attending the meeting were Mr. Thawat Sumitmor, Minister of the Royal Thai Embassy; Mr. Yupawan Taniguchi, Counsellor of the Royal Thai Embassy; Ms. Janthana Chotimunee, Commercial Attaché of the Royal Thai Embassy; representatives from the Bangkok Bank, Charoen Pokphand Foods Philippines Corporation, and SCG Mariwasa; Mr. Apolinar Aure, PCCI Director for MSMEs; Ms. Ma. Alegria Limjoco, Honorary Chair and Past President; Mr. Jude Aguilar, Chairman of International Affairs Committee; Ms. Carmencita Arce, Special Assistant to the President; Mr. Edwin Glindro, Assistant Secretary-General for International and Regional Affairs; Ms/ Lyn Gabionza, Manager of the International Affairs Department; and Ms. Chloe Tan, specialist of the International Affairs Department. --- Chloe Tan
