PCCI is the voice of Philippine business recognized by government and international institutions. As a proactive catalyst of development, PCCI promotes and supports the drive for globally competitive Philippine enterprises in partnership with government, local chambers, and other business organizations.
Mission
The main responsibility of PCCI is to provide focused advocacy for business growth and sustainable development by providing business services for the advancement of grassroots entrepreneurship, chamber development, international trade relations, business innovation and excellence, and operating efficiency. These will be achieved through a professional organization working in close cooperation with various stakeholders in public and private sectors.
PCCI SDG Committee and UP CIFAL introduce the SDG4BIZ project
PCCI SME members in NCR and South Luzon to pilot-test the SDG transformational program
In preparation for the implementation of the SDG4Biz: Sustainable Development Goals for Transformational Domestic and Export Enterprises Orientation program, PCCI’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Committee led by Ms. Bing Limjoco as Director and Mr. Joel Ryan Tugade as Chairman, conducted an orientation for PCCI’s NCR and South Luzon Chamber officers.
SDG4Biz is a learning programme on the approaches to integrate the SDGs in the corporate agenda. PCCI project partner, UP-CIFAL will be offering FREE courses aimed at capacitating enterprises to map out how their business undertakings could adopt or translate the SDGs into their own business plans and operations with practical outcomes. The programme will run in two (2) phases: Phase 1 will be the learning courses while Phase 2 will be the Ideathon. The Ideathon is the practical application of the programme. The best Ideathon proposals will be provided with subsidies to implement their concepts.
