PCCI is the voice of Philippine business recognized by government and international institutions. As a proactive catalyst of development, PCCI promotes and supports the drive for globally competitive Philippine enterprises in partnership with government, local chambers, and other business organizations.
Mission
The main responsibility of PCCI is to provide focused advocacy for business growth and sustainable development by providing business services for the advancement of grassroots entrepreneurship, chamber development, international trade relations, business innovation and excellence, and operating efficiency. These will be achieved through a professional organization working in close cooperation with various stakeholders in public and private sectors.
PCCI South Luzon holds 1st Quarter Meeting via Zoom

PCCI South Luzon led by Area Vice President Sallie C. Lacson held its 1st Quarter Meeting on April 8, 2022, via Zoom wherein updates were given by the three (3) Regional Governors - RG Romy Race (CALABARZON), RG Jeff Armedilla (MIMAROPA) and RG Ferdinand Sia (Bicol Region) on the local chamber activities in their respective regions as well as issues confronting the business community.
Cooperation among all chambers, open communication lines, and sharing of best practices were also strongly encouraged during the sharing of the Regional Governors. They also expressed their positive outlook in the coming years citing that the next two years will be a period of recovery for many businesses in the entire South Luzon.
Also discussed during the meeting is the committee assignments of the chamber presidents. PCCI South Luzon has structured its standing committees for 2022-2023 based on its ten (10) performance pillars:
- chamber operational excellence and ethics;
- membership growth and chamber extension;
- finance and ways & means;
- trade and industry development & promotion;
- government affairs and external relations;
- business and MSME development;
- public relations;
- youth, techvoc education and IT;
- advocacies; and
- corporate social responsibility
These committees will be spearheading various activities in the area and will work closely with the PCCI National Committees.
AVP Lacson emphasized that she aims to create a climate of motivated Chamber Presidents who are focused on achieving goals through her ten-point agenda. “With teamwork, selfless acts, and good judgment, the local chambers here in South Luzon across the three regions can truly help MSMEs grow,” AVP Lacson said.
The first issue of PCCI South Luzon's Newsletter featuring area and chamber-led activities from January until March was also formally launched during the meeting in conjunction with PCCI Region IV-A's Synergy Newsletter.
Upcoming events such as the 1st CALABARZON Business Conference happening on April 28, 2022, and the 31st South Luzon Area Business Conference (SOLABC) scheduled on July 21-22, 2022 were also announced during the meeting.
