PCCI to hold Corporate Governance Seminar on Sept. 7
The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), in partnership with the Good Governance Advocates and Practitioners of the Philippines (GGAPP) will be holding a Corporate Governance Seminar for publicly listed companies on September 7, 2022.
The seminar is accredited by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and will be held via zoom.
Atty. Lanie Villar-Altamira, chairman, PCCI Corporate Governance Committee, announced that for this seminar the course offerings include an overview of corporate governance and duties and responsibilities of directors and officers; Data Governance, and Guidelines on Annual Stakeholders Meeting.
Altamira underscored the importance of embedding CG in the affairs and operations of a company to encourage investors to invest, thus achieving business sustainability and growth.
