As a proactive catalyst of development, PCCI promotes and supports the drive for globally competitive Philippine enterprises in partnership with government, local chambers, and other business organizations.
Mission
The main responsibility of PCCI is to provide focused advocacy for business growth and sustainable development by providing business services for the advancement of grassroots entrepreneurship, chamber development, international trade relations, business innovation and excellence, and operating efficiency. These will be achieved through a professional organization working in close cooperation with various stakeholders in public and private sectors.
PCCI urges Dezhou based companies to do business in PH

The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) President George T. Barcelon urged Dezhou-based companies to do business in the Philippines during the China - Philippines Business Matchmaking Conference as co-organizer on 15 May 2023 at the Diamond Hotel, Manila.
During a speech in front of forty-seven (47) Dezhou-based companies, Barcelon highlighted the business and investment opportunities the Philippines has as one of the leading Southeast Asian economies. He further emphasized legislative amendments and the ratification of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) in the country that ensures a business-friendly environment for foreign companies.
He also shared the initiatives spearheaded by the PCCI in its role in advancing the plight of Philippine businesses, such as its partnership agreement with the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) and active collaboration with its foreign counterparts/ partners through its International Affairs Committee and business councils.
Over thirty (30) PCCI officers, members, and affiliates attended the event including Honorary Chair and Treasurer Sergio Ortiz-Luis, Jr.; Honorary Chair and Advisor Ma. Alegria S. Limjoco; Honorary Chair and Director for Banking and Finance Alfredo M. Yao; Chair of International Affairs Committee and Co-chair of the 49th Philippine Business Conference and Expo Jude Aguilar; Chair for Recruitment & Retention and Membership Committee Socorro Bautista; and PCCI Quezon City President, Arch. Alfred Geoffrey Carandang.
The China - Philippines Business Matchmaking Conference also witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) between PCCI - Quezon City and Dezhou New Industrialization City Construction Promotion Center. The MOC aims to strengthen business and industrial cooperation between two (2) parties. Signatories of the signing ceremony for both parties were Arch. Alfred Geoffrey Carandang for PCCI - Quezon City and Sun Hongchang for the Dezhou New Industrialization City Construction Promotion Center.
